2020 Fancy Farm Girl Frosty Fizz

Vinification: Charmat Method Sparkling made with estate grown Vidal, Riesling Primary fermentation of the 2 varietals was done separately before blending into Charmat tanks where the secondary fermentation could take place, ensuring that some residual sugar would be left in the wine before bottling.

 

Tasting notes: Frosty Fizz is a refreshing and bright sparkling with a stone fruit and tropical notes on the nose. The palate follows those notes with apricot and peach. Beautifully effervescent with a tight and refreshing mousse.


Serving suggestions:  This is a versatile wine, ideal on its own, with appetizers, or with the main course. Serve Frosty Fizz well chilled on its own, with canapés or with your main course. Because of its hint of sweetness, Frosty Fizz  pairs well with gently spiced foods. Enjoy with spring rolls or satay with Thai chili sauce, coconut curry dishes, or smoked salmon. It is also wonderful with hot buttered popcorn, liberally sprinkled with spiced sea salt!
