Introducing The 2018 Chestnut Tree Cabernet Franc Spirit Barrel Duo!
This Cabernet Franc Spirit Barrel Duo includes one bottle each of our
The 2018 Chestnut Tree Cabernet Franc Spirit Barrel Duo wines are dry, robust, elegant Cab Francs, ripe with additional flavour from their time in spirit barrels. You can expect a base nose and palate of ripe red berries, cedar, pencil shavings, and tobacco. Both are exceptionally full-bodied with gripping tannins. Furthermore, look for heady notes that remind you of dried herbs, orange peel, subtle spices, toasted honey and vanilla.

This wine is drinking wonderfully now; however, it will benefit from an additional 5 - 15 years of aging.
Serve, accordingly, at cellar temperature (55˚F). Due to the wine’s complexity, Sue-Ann suggests serving both wines on their own at the same time with good friends. Even better: create a gorgeous, complex charcuterie board and take your time, savoring an ounce of one wine, then an ounce of the other, thereby comparing the wines.
These wines were made for cellaring. Drink between 2022 and 2030.
Sold as a pair for $130.00
